Northern Cali

I took the 101 the entire way up California.  Almost 800 miles were driven between LA and the Oregon border.  My favorite part of the trip were the sights I saw in Northern California.  Once I got north of San Francisco I could tell the pace of life is much slower than Southern Cali.  People began to drive slower and the distance between civilization became greater.  The Redwood National Park was mind blowing with its VERY tall Redwood Trees.  I learned 1000 tons of water is consumed for every 1 ton of weight for a redwood tree.  That's even more than I drink each day
